A Writer's Journey With Jeff

I just wrote and formatted a large chunk of my monthly newsletter this evening. One of the many advantages to 13 years of self-publishing is that writing to deadline is a built-in habit for me now. While fixing the layout for it, I was reminded just how green at the newsletter biz I really am: I realized that my first issue went out with one of the bits of information that was only for me. Issue 1 went out with "Your signature file" printed. Ow
At least my subscriber base is growing. I'm now up to 7 at last count!

I e-mailed my spec review to RPGAction a few minutes ago. I'll wait to see what the editor's reactions are. It looks good already; in e-mail, he was asking if I knew certain games because he needed reviewers for them. I don't want to get my hopes up, but it feels like I'm in.
Meanwhile, my first newsletter is indeed online since June 30th. At last check, I had 5 subscribers in about a week; that's a good start. It gives me extra incentive to get the next issue out.
