What I did continue was my project proposal for Gold Rush Games. I'm deep into writing the outline portion of the pitch... onto my second page and I've now gone on to the actual adventure portion of the book (the entire first part is the sourcebook for the area my adventures occur in). As I began typing this, entire other sections to add to that outline came to my mind. Part of the creative process...

Meanwhile, I got some things cleared up on the Hero Games front. They finally released submission guidelines and a legal release form. Only problem: they didn't provide format guidelines, leaving us guessing how our proposals should be presented.

They gave me a go ahead to use the same format as for Gold Rush Games for now... so I'll actually have a few proposals to work on now.

Good thing: a reminder e-mail said the deadline is Friday the 1st, not the 8th as I thought. The writing part of my zine is now done.

I began laying it all out in Pagemaker this evening... my learning curve there continues. I've discovered that the charts in my piece don't flow well, so tomorrow I'll have to save each one as a separate file to import.

DTP really makes for a chance to get into the bones of publishing.

So far, the article alone is 14 pages of material. By the end, it'll be closer to 18.

I'm suspecting this'll be my first 20+ page zine for the APA in a few years. Wow.

My zines are mostly finished now anyways; a few small updates and they'll both be ready. My 120th self-publications will be ready!
